Currently we are looking for:

Drupal/PHP programmers:

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of web development experience with PHP as main language.
  • Understanding of web frameworks on PHP (Drupal, CakePHP, Symphony etc)
  • 1 year of experience with javascript toolkits (jQuery, dojo)
  • Strong grip on computer science concepts (Algorithms, design patterns)
  • Thorough understanding of how web works (HTTP, AJAX lifecycle etc)
  • Understanding of Databases (RDBMS) and working knowledge of MySQL of atleast a year.

Additional Points for:

  • Experience with Source Control Management systems (GIT, SVN)
  • Experience with scalable systems
  • Open source contributions
  • Experience with automated unit testing systems (Simpletest etc)
  • Experience with agile methodologies (scrum, XP, TDD)

 

Web developers

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience with development on web.
  • Strong grip on computer science concepts (Algorithms, design patterns)
  • Thorough understanding of how web works (HTTP, AJAX lifecycle etc)
  • Understanding of Databases (RDBMS)
  • Hands on with any web framework and web scripting languages (Drupal, PHP, Python, Django, RoR etc)
  • Hands on with Javascript toolkits (jQuery, Dojo etc)

Additional points for:

  • Experience with scalable systems
  • Experience with Source code management systems (GIT, SVN)
  • Experience with document based databases (couchdb, hypertable)
  • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, TDD)
  • Experience with functional programming languages (erlang, haskell)
